Job Description
IT Support Technician
Configure new and existing computers and provide support for hardware and
software problems throughout the organization. Research, resolve and
respond to questions from employees in a timely and efficient manner as
well as maintain an inventory of hardware, software, purchase dates, and
warranty and registration information as needed. Assist with ordering new
hardware and software, and training of end users.
Education/Qualification Required
** 1-2 years experience with Windows XP in a corporate network
environment
** Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007, Internet Explorer
and Outlook; exposure to MS Server and Active Directory is a plus
** 1-2 years experience troubleshooting desktop and laptop computers
** Ability to install and test hardware components and peripherals
** Must multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment, while
meeting quality expectations
** Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and
work effectively in a team environmentSalary
