Job Description

Visitor Services Specialist at Visitor Services Department
Part-time flexible days, some evenings, weekends & holidays
Approximately 14-30 hours per week

Ticket Taker -- take tickets, check and count members, assist visitors with special needs. Provide correct information and directions.

Information Specialist -- answer questions and provide correct and up-to-date information about OMNIMAX films, exhibits, admissions and daily activities. Sell memberships, handle WILL CALL, stroller and wheelchair rentals. Answer incoming calls and provide accurate information.

Cashier -- sell admissions to OMNIMAX Theater, Museums and Special Exhibits/Programs using a computerized ticketing system. Collect visitor information. Balance money drawer at the end of each shift.


Education/Qualification Required

** Must have excellent verbal communication skills, customer service and cashiering experience. Knowledge of ticketing systems is a plus.
** Strong computer skills preferred.
** Outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills.
** Ability to perform well in a high-pressure situation and should be physically able to assist in evacuating visitors in the event of an emergency.
** Must be at least 18 years of age.
