Job Description

Visitor Service intern, part-time

Great internship to build your portfolio and resume while learning and promoting tourism in Butler County. This experience will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge of the tourism industry, help in the development of networking skills, gain valuable job experience, and hone your communication and event management skills.

Help research and coorindate events. Assist other departments as needed. Assist with tourism partner relations such as hoteliers, attractions, dining, events, sports venues and more.

Education/Qualification Required

** Minimum sophomore college status
** Strong verbal and writing skills
** Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
** Flexible, able to handle multiple projects
** Excellent organizational skills and ability to see projects/tasks through to completion
** Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet

Salary

Up to $250/month in mileage expenses
