Controls Engineer, co-op/internship
This is a position that will be hands on. The co-op will be asked to be out on the floor working on existing equipment as well as being involved in the process of acquiring new equipment. This will include writing specifications on new equipment, talking with potential suppliers, and monitoring the build of the equipment through delivery and commissioning on the production floor.
Ability to work with hand tools. Knowledge of PLC programming and ladder logic. Familiar with acoustics and acoustic testing with signal analysis. Knowledge of windows based programs. May work with National Instruments programs, such as Labview and Teststand (familiarity a plus but not necessary). Knowledge of common wiring practices a plus. Ability to read electrical drawings. Knowledge of AutoCAD. Knowledge of sensors and how they work. Ability to follow directions
