Provide technical engineering testing services to the different FCG Engineering groups. Carry out testing of products and materials.
Basic responsiblitites: Perform testing and evaluation services, both destructive and nondestructive. Suitability of materials evaluation. Report in written form the findings and outcome of testing conducted. Setup and operate labs computer controlled data acquisition systems. Maintain lab in an orderly manner. Assist in Exp. Machine shop if necessary. Develop a general knowledge of product line. Write term report on overall knowledge acquired with covering summary and recommendations. Other activiites as identified.
